Theresa Brasier
Theresa was born in San Jose, Ca., moved to Oroville, Ca. when young, and then settled in the Yuba/Sutter area where she still resides with her husband of twenty years and her four kids.
Theresa had a difficult childhood which continued into her young adult years. But through the grace of God, she was brought back to life.
God has put the youth on her heart. She has a passion and desire to help the youth know their identity in Christ. Because of her past experiences, she has a unique perspective and ability to connect with all youth. Theresa has the gift of hospitality and has housed, supported, and taken care of more than one hundred people over the years. She wants all to know of how Christ has shaped her through it all and that He can do it for anyone!
Theresa loves to cook, her favorite food is Chinese, and rarely goes without her daily coffee from the local coffee shop. She loves the smell of rain, the idea of producing her own food, and being in God’s creation. She would love to travel to Africa someday.

Dana Brothers
Dana has resided in the Yuba/Sutter area for more than forty years. She has two adult children and three grandchildren, all of which she is very active in their lives.
She enjoys her time with her grandchildren and calls them her “heart-shine.” She is thankful that they remind her what life is truly about; being present in the moment. They also teach her about the simple things such as being kind, having friends, being honest and truthful, trusting, sharing, and being filled with love. Seeing the world through their young eyes and marveling at everything they see gives her gratitude not easily found elsewhere.
Professionally, Dana has many years serving the community in multiple ways. She spent nine years working for a non-profit arts organization. She devoted nineteen years of her professional life to behavioral health through the county. She currently is employed with a local real estate agency as an assistant to over forty real estate agents. Dana is excited about the opportunity to work with the youth of our community through Safe Haven Youth Ministry. She feels blessed to be able to come alongside them, serve them, and see their heart-shine.
Beside spending time with her grandchildren, Dana loves spending time with friends, learning God’s Word, attending Bible studies, and serving as a Sunday School Teacher. She loves the color yellow, a cool breeze, the smell of citrus, and the sun shining on her face.
